Your Wedding Exhibition 2026

Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure of attending Your Wedding Exhibition at the P&J Live in Aberdeen, and what a brilliant couple of days it was. From start to finish, the show was buzzing with excitement, creativity, and lots of loved-up couples planning their big day.

As a wedding cake maker, exhibitions are always so much fun. There’s something really lovely about finally meeting couples face-to-face, or chatting to new couples about their wedding plans. I love helping them imagine what their dream cake could look (and taste!) like.

My stand was filled with display cakes showcasing a mix of modern designs, textures, and finishes, and I was so grateful for the wonderful feedback they received throughout the weekend. So many couples stopped to say how much they loved the designs, which honestly never gets old.

The cake samples were also a big hit.  Hearing such kind compliments about both the flavours and the overall look of my work made the long hours of prep beforehand completely worth it. There’s nothing better than seeing people genuinely enjoy something you’ve created.

The exhibition itself was incredibly busy, with a steady stream of couples through the doors all weekend.  I had so many great conversations – not only with engaged couples but also with fellow suppliers. It’s always great to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones, sharing stories, advice, and plenty of laughs in between the busy moments!

Events like Your Wedding Exhibition really remind me why I love being part of the wedding industry. Being surrounded by such talented suppliers, all working towards making couples’ wedding days unforgettable, is genuinely inspiring.

I came away from the weekend feeling tired but incredibly happy and grateful. Thank you to everyone who stopped by my stand, tasted cake, asked questions, or simply had a chat. Your support means the world to me!

I’m now really looking forward to working with my new couples and creating beautiful, delicious wedding cakes!
